Saving Prescriptions

Zenni makes it easy to order multiple pairs of glasses for all your needs by giving you the option to save your prescription.

You can easily save your prescription during the order process. After entering your prescription for your chosen frame and confirming the values are correct, you will see a prompt to save the prescription. If you choose to save it, you will be asked to name the saved prescription, enter the date of the prescription, and decide whether or not you would like a reminder when it's time for a renewal. (Note: the prescription date is for your personal reference only.)

You can also save prescriptions to your account at any time, even if you haven't picked the perfect frame yet. Simply log in to your account, then navigate to My Prescription in the Personalization menu on the left. From there, click "Add New Prescription."​

Managing Prescriptions

If you are a long-time Zenni fan, you know that saved prescriptions can easily add up over time, especially if you order for friends and family.​

To reduce the possibility of prescription ordering mistakes, it's important to regularly check your saved prescriptions and delete any that you are no longer using. If you made a mistake while saving your prescription, you can also choose "Edit" to fix it, all in one convenient place!​

Additional Tips

• Come up with a naming convention for your saved prescriptions that works for you! For example, you could use the first name and year if you order for your family, such as: John 2021.

• If you or someone in your household has multiple prescriptions, adding detail such as the prescription type can be helpful, too. For example: John 2021 Computer Glasses.

• Visiting an eye doctor regularly is important for your overall health, even if you feel like your vision hasn't changed. Use the "Renewal Reminder" to let yourself know when it's time to book another appointment.

• When you get your new prescription, take the time to delete the old one before ordering.
